Still early days....

So, it's now week four of the Official Meeting of The Knitting Ninnies. Yep, we are that fancy, we get capitals!

As we are still finding our feet, I didn't think it was right posting every week, as we are all still settling in.

This week though, we have had a quick look at the various yarn related day trips in the wider area, with a view to gate crashing them at some point. A dozen ladies, all armed with pointy sticks and string, galloping towards anything is a bit of a fearsome sight to behold!

We have all been kept in plenty of laughter and giggles by our very own resident local colour, Miss R. Full of wonderful stories about her family, friends, and the local area, with a touch of smut thrown in for good measure....Good Times!

Yours truly, being all innocent and such, kept her ears firmly shut to all the shenanigans....And if you believe that.....
Personally, I think Wetherspoons has been sneaking gin into the water again...heh, that would explain all the raucous laughter and red faces! (Disclaimer: I don't actually think Wetherspoons are spiking the drinks, they are a family establishment, and are very welcoming to all folks.)

It was a bit thin on the ground this week, with some of our ladies out for various reasons, but hopefully should pick back up again in the next couple of weeks.
